the ratio between the prices of a scooter and a refrigerator is 4:1 . if the scooter costs ₹ 45000 more than the refrigerator , find the price of the refrigerator .​

Let the common multiple be x

then ,

4x = 45000 + x

( cost of scooter = cost of refrigerator+45000)

4x - x = 45000

3x = 45000

x =45000/3

x = 15000

therefore , cost of refrigerator=x= 15000
