☆Correct Question

The ratio between the angles of a triangle are 3:5:7. Find the angles.

☆ Solution:

Let the triangle be ∆ABC, let the ratio angles be 3x , 5x and 7x

The value of x is

⟹ 3x + 5x + 7x = 180°

⟹ 8x + 7x = 180°

⟹ 15x = 180

⟹ x = 180/15

⟹ x = 12

The measure of angles are:-

  • 3x ( ∠A )

⟹ 3 × 12

⟹ 36°

  • 5x ( ∠B )

⟹ 5 × 12

⟹ 60°

  • 7x ( ∠C )

⟹ 7 × 12

⟹ 84°

Now, Verification

∠A + ∠B + ∠C = 180°

⟹ 36° + 60° + 84° = 180°

⟹ 60 + 120 = 180

⟹ 180 = 180

L.H.S = R.H.S

Hence, Proved.
