Answer:

let the speed of two train is x and y

the ratio between the two speeds of two train 3:4 means x/y =3/4

speed of second train is y=distance/time

y=400/4 =100km /hr

substitute value of y is equation above

x/y=3/4 x/100km /hr =3/4

cross multiplication

4x=3X100km/hr

4x=300km/hr

x=300km/hr/4

x=75 km/hr
