Answer:

triangle sums to = 180 degree

3 sides = 180 degree

2 sides = 60

4 + 3 = 60

7 = 60

1st vertical angle = 4/7 * 60

                            = 34.2 degree

2nd base angle = 3/7 * 60

                          = 25.7 degree

third angle = 180 - (34.2 + 25.7)

                  = 180 - 59.9

                  = 120.1

Given:-

  • The ratio between the vertical angle and base angle of an isosceles triangle is 4:3.

To Find:-

  • The all angles of triangle

Concept used:-

  • Angle sum Property - Sum of all angle of triangle is 180°

Diagram:-

\setlength{\unitlength}{1 cm}\begin{picture}(0,0)\thicklines\qbezier(1, 0)(1,0)(3,3)\qbezier(5,0)(5,0)(3,3)\qbezier(5,0)(1,0)(1,0)\put(2.85,3.2){$\bf A$}\put(0.5,-0.3){$\bf C$}\put(5.2,-0.3){$\bf B$}\end{picture}

Now,

Let the Ratio be x

→ Vertical angle = 4x

→ Base angle = 3x

But it is an Isosceles triangle. Base angles are equal.

Therefore,

→ 4x + 3x + 3x = 180

→ 10x = 180

→ x = 180/10

→ x = 18°

Hence, The value of x is 18°.

→ Vertical angle = 4x → 4 × 18 = 72°

→ Base angles = 3x → 3 × 18 = 54°.

Therefore, all angles of triangle are 72°, 54° and 54°.
