The ratio between two numbers is 3:4, if each number be increased by 4 , the ratio becomes 5:6 find the numbers

3x+4+4x+4=11x

7x-11x=-8

-4x=-8

x=-8/-4

x=2

Numbers are

3x=2*3=6

4x=2*4=8

(3x +4) + (4x+ 4) = 5x +6x

= 7x + 8 =5x +6x

8 = 4x

x = 2

3x = 3*2 = 6

4x =4*2= 8.

therefore the no. are 6 and 8
