Let each interior angle be x

A/Q -> 2x + x = 180°

=> 3x = 180°

=> x = 180°/3 = 60°

Each exterior angle = 2x = 2 × 60° = 120°

No. of sides =

$\frac{360}{each \: exterior \: angle}$

= 360°/120°

= 3 sides

Hence the polygon has three sides and that means it is a triangle.
