let present age of jayanta and rakesh be 2x and 3x.
hence age before 4 yrs= 2x-4 and 3x-4
according to the problem,
3x-4=2x-4+6
3x-2x=-4+4+6
x=6
so jayantas PRESENT age= 2x=2 X 6=12
hence age before 4 yrs= 2x-4 and 3x-4
according to the problem,
3x-4=2x-4+6
3x-2x=-4+4+6
x=6
so jayantas PRESENT age= 2x=2 X 6=12
