The ratio of 2 adjacent sides of a pallelogram is 2:5
and the perimeter is 56m, find the length of it's
adjacent side

Let the adjacent side be 5x and 7x respectively.

We know that opposite sides of parallelogram are equal and opposite

So, 5x+7x+5x+7x=24x [Perimeter]

Given, 24x=72

x=3

Hence length of sides of parallelogram are 5×3 and 7×3 or 15 cm and 21 cm.
