Answer:

Complimentary Angles - 40° and 50°

Supplementary Angles Ratio - 14:13

Step-by-step explanation:

Let angles be 4x and 5x

4x+5x = 90 (Sum of complementary angles is 90)

9x = 90

x = 10

Each angle:

4x10 and 5x10

40 and 50

RATIO OF SUPPLEMENTARY ANGLES:

Sum of supplementary angles - 180°

First angle = 180 - 40 i.e. 140

Second angle = 180 - 50 i.e. 130

Ratio = 14:13

Answer:

Let the two complementary angles be x and y respectively.

Thus , x + y = 90°

But their ratio is 4 : 5

Therefore , x / y = 4 / 5

= 5x = 4y

thus , x = (4/5) y

therefore ,

4 y / 5 +. y = 90 °

4y + 5y = 450°

9y = 450°

y = 50°

x = 4 × 50° / 5

x = 40°
