let the age of ashok and his father =2x and 9x
after 6 years ashok age = 2x+6
his father age =9x+6
his father is three times of his son
=> 3(2x+6 )=9x +6
=>6x +18 =9x +6
=>6x-9x =6-18
=>-3x =-12
=> x= -12/-3
=>x =4

there fore present age of Ashok = 2x =2x4=8
present age of ashok =8
