Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the present ages of A = x

B = y

A to q

Bfr 10 years

X - 10 ÷ y - 10 = 3:5

On cross multiply

5(x-10) = 3(y - 10)

5x - 50 = 3y - 30

5x - 3y = -30 + 50

5x - 3y = 20 ..............1

A to q

X:y = 2:3

On cross multiply

3x = 2y

X = 2y/3

Putting in eq 1

5x - 3y = 20

5(2y ÷ 3) - 3y = 20

10y ÷ 3 - 3y = 20

On taking LCM

10y - 9y ÷ 3 = 20

Y = 20 ×3 = 60

X = 2y/3

= 2×60 ÷ 3 = 40

A = 40 years

B = 60.years

Hope it helps uh
