Step-by-step explanation:

Let , the ages of A,B =x

So, A=4x, B=5x

18 years after the ratio will be 11:16

after 18 years age of A =4x+10

after 18 years of B = 5x+10

But according to given data =11:16

= 4x+18:5x+18=11:16

I,e.., 16(4x+18) : 11(5x+18)

64x+288 = 55x +198

64x-55x= -288+198

9x = 90

x=90/9

x=10

Age of A,B

A=4x= 4×10=40

B=5x= 5×10=50

so,sum of there ages will be 40+50=90
