Answer:

The ratio of ages of two person is 4:7

Let the common multiple be x

Therefore the age of two person will be 4x and 7x

As per the condition given,

7x-4x=30

3x=30

x=10

Substituting the value of x in both the ages,

4x=4×10=40

7x=7×10=70

Therefore sum of both the ages will be

4x+7x=40+70=110

Answer:110
