Question :

The ratio of angles of a right angled isosceles triangle is ?

Answer :

In a right angled triangle ,

  • One angle is 90°

As it is isosceles the other two angles are equal .

let the other angles be x and x respectively .

By angle sum property, sum of all angles of a triangle is 180° .

➡ 90 + x + x = 180

➡ 90 + 2x = 180

➡ 2x = 180 - 90

➡ 2x = 90

➡ x = 90/2

➡ x = 45

Therfore the other two angles are 45 and 45 respectively .

Ratio = 90:45:45

= 2:1:1
