We know that second hand of the clock takes 60sec to cover an angular distance of 2 pie radian (360°).

Therefore angular velocity = 2 pie /60 (theta/time)

=pie/30

For an hour hand to complete one rotation i. e 2 pie radians it takes 12 hours (12*3600sec)

Therefore angular velocity of hour hand =2 pie /43200

=pie /21600

Finally the ratio is 21600/30 =720 : 1
