Given :-

● The ratio of areas of circle A to Circle B is 5 ratio 4

● The radius of circle b is 28cm

Solution :-

Let the radius of circle A be r

Now,

According to the question,

Area of circle A / Area of circle B = 5/4

As we know that,

Area of circle = πr^2

Therefore,

Area of circle A = π * r * r = πr^2

Area of circle B = π * 28 * 28 = 784π

As it is given in the question,

πr^2/784π = 5/4

r^2 / 784 = 5/4

r^2 = 5/4 * 784

r^2 = 5 * 196

r^2 = 980

r = √980

r = 31.3cm

Hence, The radius of the circle A is 31.3cm.
