Bcc and fcc both have 8 atoms at corners (1/8*8=1) bcc has one whole atom at the body centre(1) while fcc has 6 atoms at face centre(6*1/2=3)

(1)In Simple cubic,
Z = 1, r = a/2
(2) In FCC,
Z = 4, r = a/2√2
(3) In BCC,
Z = 2, r = √3a/4
Therefore, ratio of atoms per unit cell for BCC to FCC is -
Ratio = 2 / 4 = 1 /2
