1/2 × base × height = 750

3x × 5x = 750×2

15x² = 1500

x² = 100

x = 10

base = 30cm

height = 50 cm

Step-by-step explanation:

let base be 3x and height be 5x

therefore,

area of a ∆= 750dm²

1/2(b×h)= 750dm²

1/2(5x × 3x)= 750dm²

15x²= 750dm²×2

x²= 750dm²×2/15

x = ✓100dm²

= 10dm

So, base= 3x = 3×10dm = 30dm

height = 5x= 5×10dm = 50dm

Also answer to your previous question

area = 148cm²

base = 1.6dm = 1.6×10cm= 16cm (converting dm to cm)

we know that,

1/2(b×h)= area of ∆

1/2(16cm×h)= 148cm²

16cm×h = 148cm²×2

h= 148cm²×2/ 16cm

= 18.5cm.

therefore altitude= 18.5cm

Those guys forgot to convert dm to cm.
