the ratio of base to height of a parallelogram is 4:3 . if the area of parallelogram is 1452cm² then find its base and height.​

Answer:

Let the height of the parallelogram be 3x cm.

Then, its base is 4x cm.

Area of parallelogram = 1452cm². [ Given]

Base × Height = 1452 cm²

4x × 3x = 1452

12x² = 1452

 {x}^{2}  =  \frac{1452}{12}  = 121 \\ x = 11

Since x = 11, base = (4×11)cm = 44cm

and height = (3×11)cm = 33cm

hence the base of the parallelogram is 44cm and its height is 33cm.
