the ratio of boys to girls in a class is 2 : 3 . if the number of boys and girls is increased by 1 / 2 and 1 / 3 respectively of the original number, what would be the new ratio of boys to girls in the class

given 2:3 is the original ratio of boys to girls
new ratio will be
2+1/2/3+1/3
=5/2 / 10/3
=5/2×3/10
=15/20
=3/4
hence the new ratio will be 3/4
