Answer:

Given:-

  • Ratio of boys to girls = 3 : 5.

  • Total Students = 40.

To Find:-

  • Girls more than Boys in the class.

Solution:-

Let No. of Boys be 3x and No. of Girls be 5x.

As given,

⟾ Total Students = 40

⟾ No. of boys + No. of girls = 40

⟾ 3x + 5x = 40

⟾ 8x = 40

⟾ x = 5

  • No. of boys = 3x = 3×5 = 15

  • No. of Girls = 5x = 5×5 = 25

Hence, There are 10 girls more than boys in the class.
