the ratio of boys to girls in a class is 5:2 . If the total no. of students in the class is 35 , then find the no. of toys

Answer:

ratio = 5:2

boys= 5x

girls= 2x

total students = 5x + 2x = 35

7x= 35

x = 35/7

x= 5

boys = 5x = 5x5 = 25
