Let the common ratio be x !

Girls : Boys= 5:3

Hence ,

Number of boys = 3x

Number of girls = 5x

Atq,

Numbers of girls = 300

Numbers of boys = ?

5x = 300

x = 300/5

x= 60

So , no. of boys = 3x = 3×60

=180

Therefore there are 180 boys !!
