The profit will be shared among the partners in their capital ratio.
let the total profit be X
1st person profit will be 3/16X
2nd person profit will be 8/16X
3rd person profit will be 5/16X
3/16X = 5/16X - 60
5/16X - 3/16X = 60
2/16X = 60
X = 480
the total profit will be Rs. 480

Step-by-step explanation:

Ratio of capitals of 3 persons = 3:8:5

Ratio of profits of 3 persons=3:8:5

Let profit of 1st person =rs.3x

Profit of 2nd person=rs.8x

Profit of 3rd person =rs 5x

Total profit = rs (3x +8x+5x) = rs . 16x

Now ,5x -3x =60 or 2x =60 .^.(therefore) x = 30

Total profit = 16x=rs(16×30) =rs 480
