Hi friend
----------------
Your answer
--------------------

Quantity of gun powder = 1.2 kg = 1200 grams

Ratio of carbon, sulphur and potassium nitrate = 3:2:1

Total = 3 + 2 + 1 = 6

Now,
----------

Quantity of each component required : -

Carbon = (3/6 × 1200) grams = 600 grams

Sulphur = (2/6 × 1200) grams = 400 grams

Pottasium nirtate = (1/6 × 1200) grams = 200 grams

HOPE IT HELPS

Stranger47: Friend 1.2kg= 1200g
ARM2: Tnx yarrr

Let the amount of carbon required be 3x ,sulphur be 2x and KNO3 be x.
It is given that the total mass is 1.2kg
So 3x+2x+x = 1.2
or x = 1.2/6 = 0.2

So carbon= 0.6kg ; sulphur= 0.4kg and KNO3 = 0.2kg
