.
Let the circumference of one circle be 2πr
And the circumference of second circle be 2πR.
.
\frac{circumference of 1st circle}{circumference of 2nd circle} = \frac{5}{3}
.
\frac{2πr}{2πR} = \frac{5}{3}
.
\frac{r}{R} = \frac{5}{3}
.
Ration of their radii = 5:3

Given :

  • Ratio of the circumference of circle is 5 : 3

______________________________

To Find :

  • Ratio of radii

______________________________

Solution :

We know that

Circumference of circle = 2πr

➤ Let the radii be R and r

→ 5/3 = 2πR/2πr

→ 5/3 = πR/πr

→ 5/3 = R/r

The ratio of their radii is 5:3
