Consecutive angles

Angle 1 +angle 2= 180

2x+3x=180

5x=180

x =180÷5

x=36

2x=72

3x=108

Answer

Ratio of Consecutive angles → 2:3

Let the angles be 2x and 3x.

Consecutive angles are basically Adjacent angles. We know that sum of two Adjacent angles of a Parallelogram is 180°.

Therefore,

2x + 3x = 180° (Sum of consecutive angles is 180°)

5x = 180

x = \frac{180}{5}

x = 36°

Now we substitute this value in the angles.

2x

2(36)

72°

∴ 2x = 72°

3x

3(36)

108°

∴ 3x = 108°

Thefore the required angles are 72° and 108°
