The ratio of Copper and Zinc in an alloy is 5:3. Is the weight of copper in the alloy is 30.5 g. Find the weight of zinc in it.

Let the weight of copper be 5x and of zinc be 3x

Weight of copper=30.5

5x=30.5

x=6.1

Weight of zinc=3x

=3*6.1

=18.3

Weight of zinc=18.3
