CSA sphere1/ CSA of sphere2 = 1/2
4πr1^2/4πr2^2 = 1/2
(r1/r2)^2 = 1/2
r1 / r2 = √(1/2)
r1/r2 = 1/√2
√2r1 = r2 .... (1)
volume of sphere1/volume of sphere2 = (4/3πr1^3)/(4/3πr2^3) = r1^3/r2^3 = r1^3/(√2r1)^3 = r1^3/(2√2×r1) = 1/2√2
Ans . the ratio is 1 : 2√2
4πr1^2/4πr2^2 = 1/2
(r1/r2)^2 = 1/2
r1 / r2 = √(1/2)
r1/r2 = 1/√2
√2r1 = r2 .... (1)
