Let the common factor of their ages be 3x and 5x.
3x+5x=80
8x=80
x=80/8
x=10
age after 10 years,
3x+10 and 5x+10
3*10+10 and 5*10+10
40 years and 60 years
3x+5x=80
8x=80
x=80/8
x=10
age after 10 years,
3x+10 and 5x+10
3*10+10 and 5*10+10
40 years and 60 years
