The ratio of distance travelled by two bodies A and B starting from rest moving along straight line with equal acceleration is x ,x greater than or equal to 1 ,then

(1) time taken by body A > time taken by body B
(2) time taken by body A < time taken by body B
(3) time taken by body A is greater than or equal to time taken by body B
(4) time taken by body A is lesser than or equal to time taken by body B

acceleration of both bodies = a
initial velocity of two bodies = 0

s1 = distance travelled by A in time t1 = u t1 + 1/2 a t1²  = 1/2 a t1²

s2 = distance travelled by B in time t2 = 1/2 a t2²

s1  / s2 = x = t1² / t2²

if x ≥ 1   it means that   t1 ≥ t2.

So the answer is  (3).
