Answer:

GIVEN

The ratio of incomes of Rahul, Sneha and Chirag are 8 ∶ 15 ∶ 17

Rahul, Sneha and Chirag spend in the ratio of 3 ∶ 7 ∶ 6

Rahul saves 25% of his income.

FORMULA \: \: USED :

Income = Expenditure + Savings

ASSUMPTION :

Let income be 'x' & expenditure be 'y'

CALCULATION :

⇒ Rahul’s income = 8x = 3y + Savings

⇒ Rahul’s saving = (25/100) × 8x = 2x

⇒ Rahul’s income = 8x = 3y + 2x

⇒ 6x = 3y

⇒ y = 2x

⇒ Sneha’s savings = Income – Expenditure = 15x – 7y = 15x – 14x = x

⇒ Chirag’s savings = Income - Expenditure = 17x – 6y = 17x – 12x = 5x

∴ Ratio of savings of Rahul, Sneha and Chirag = 2x ∶ x ∶ 5x = 2 ∶ 1 ∶ 5
