He spends 55% of his salary.

His savings =Rs 14400

Explanation:

Given : The ratio of expenditure and savings of Raju is 11 : 9.

Let the expenditure and savings of Raju is given by 11x  and 9 x.

Then total earning would be 11x+9x=20x

Percentage of his salary he spends= \dfrac{expenditure}{earnings}\times100

=\dfrac{11x}{20x}\times100=11\times5=55\%

Thus , he spends 55% of his salary.

Since , the total earning is given to be  32,000.

⇒ 20x = 32000

⇒ x=1600 [Divide both sides by 20]

∴Savings =  9x =9(1600)=Rs 14400

Hence, His savings =Rs 14400
