\bold{Answer}

Let father's and son's age be 7x and 4x \bold{respectively}

∵ 28 x2 = 1008

⇒ x2 = 36

⇒ x = 6

∴ Father's age = 7x = 42 years

\bold{son's\: age} = 4x = 24 years

Father's age after 6 years later = 48 years

Son's age 6 years hence = 30 years

\bold{required\: ratio} = 48 : 30

= 8:5

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Let 7m be the fathers age and 4m be the son’s age.

Then 7m x 4m = 1008

28m^2=1008

m^2=36

So m=6

So fathers age is 42 and son’s age is 24. After 6 years father’s age will be 48 and son’s age will be 30

So the ratio is 48:30=8:5
