Answer:

Age of mother = 48

Age of son = 24

Age of daughter = 18

Ratio of  the mother’s age to that of her daughter

=48/18

=8:3

∵ Ratio of father’s age to that of his son is equal to the ratio of the mother’s age to that of her daughter

∴ Ratio of father’s age to that of his son = 8:3

Son's age = 24

Father's age = x

8:3::x=24

x = 24 x 8 / 3

x = 64
