Answer:

Let the number of boys and girls be 5x and 7x respectively.

according to your question,

7x = 5x + 150

or 7x - 5x = 150

or 2x = 150

or x = 150/2

or x = 75

Therefore, total strength of class

= 5x + 7x = 12x = 12×45 = 540

Answer:

Ratio of Girls and boys in school = 5:7

Boys in the school = 150

Total students in the school = ?

Let take the number 5x and 7x respectively

Difference of the ratios ,

7x - 5x = 2x

So,

2x = 150

x = 150 / 2

x = 75

We have to find the total number of students in school so,

Sum of the ratios,

7 + 5 = 12

75 × 12 = 900

The total students in the school is 900.

hope it helps u ✌
