Suppose total no. Of students in the class is X.

So as 2/3 part of the class is girls this makes 1/3 part of the class boys.

total number of girls will be equal to 2/3 *X. (That is 2/3 part of the total no of students in the class)

And total no. of boys is equal to 1/3*X.

So ratio of boys to girls is (1/3*X) / (2/3*X).

That is 1:2

Girls = 40%

Boys = 60 %
