7:8=x:120

x=(7/8)×120

Hey there !

Here's the answer !

Ratio of green beads to red beads = 7 : 8

Now red beads are given to be 120.

So, in ratio and proportion method we get,

7 : 8 :: x : 120   [ Assuming x to be the number of green beads ]

Product of Means = Product of Extremes

So, 7 × 120 = 8 × x

840 = 8x

x = 840 / 8 = 105

Hence there would be 105 beads.

Hope it helps !

Thanks :)
