Hey here us your answer
___________________________

Atomic mass of 2 Hydrogen in water is
2 × 1g = 2g
Atomic mass of 1 Oxygen in water is
1 × 16g = 16g

Molecular mass of water is
H2 + O --- H2O
2g + 16g --- 18g

Now the mass percentage of
Oxygen is water
= 16/18 × 100
= 0.8888888889 × 100
= 88.88888889 %

And the mass percentage of
Hydrogen is water
= 2/18 × 100
= 0.1111111111 × 100
= 11.11111111 %

Step-by-step explanation:

Ratio of Hydrogen and Oxygen in water = 2 : 1

Percentage of Hydrogen = 2x

percentage of oxygen = 1x

Total ratio = 2 + 1

= 3

Therefore, percentage of Hydrogen in water

= 2/3 × 100

= 200/3

= 66 2/3 % ( Ans )

Therefore, percentage of oxygen in water = 1/3 × 100

= 100/3

= 33 1/3 %

( Ans )
