Answer:

Let the income be 3x and 2x

Their expenditure is 4y and 3y

(a) saving = income - expenditure = 3-4y =2000....(1)

(b) saving =2x - 3y = 1000...(2)

From eq (1) and eq(2) we have

Y =1000 and x=2000

Therefore,

Income of A. =3x =6000

Income B = 2x = 4000

Answer:

Given ratio of saving: expenditure is

3:2

we know, saving + expenditure = income

Now, 3x + 2x = 6000

5x = 6000

x = 1200

Saving= 3x = 3*1200 = 3600 Rs.

Expenditure = 2x = 2*1200 = 2400 Rs
