Answer:

Given - A : b

Inc - 5 : 4

Exp - 3 : 2

also its given that B saves 1/3 of his income, hence spend the 2/3 of his income.

we know that if we multiply of divide ration by common factor than ration remains same, so we can multiply income ratio by 3 as B save 1/3 of his income

multiply by 3 - A : B = 15 : 12 ( A- 5*3= 15, B - 4*3 =12)

out od income 12 B spent 8 (2/3) and saving is 4 . now we need to balance the ratio of expenditure as we know B spent 8 so we can multiply expenditure by 4 (B expe- 2*4=8, A expe- 3*4=12)

now new ration will be

———— A : B

Income 15 : 12

Expen - 12 : 8

saving - 3 : 4 ( Saving = Income- Expen)
