Step-by-step explanation:

The ratio of income of Aman to income of Raman is 4 : 3.

Their expenditures are in the ratio 3 : 1.

Let x be a common term of the ratio 4:3

Therefore,

Aman's income = 4x

Raman's income= 3x

Now let y be a common term of the ratio 3:1

Aman's expenditure= 3y

Raman's expenditure=y

Therefore, equation of savings for Aman

= Income- Expenditure = 16000

=> 4x-3y=16000

Now, equation of savings for Raman

= Income- Expenditure = 25000

=> 3x-y=25000

Solving both the equations,

x = Rs 11800

y= Rs 10400

Now , we want the income

Aman's income = 4x = Rs 47200

Raman's income = 3x = Rs 35400
