Answer : Rs. 7600

\rule{100}2

Given :

  • Ratio of income to savings = 11 : 2
  • Saving = ₹ 1520

To Find :

  • The expenditure

SolUtion :

Let common factor in their ratios be ' x '

So,

Income will be = 11x

Savings = 2x

There's nothing complicated, as savings are already given!

According to question

\sf 2x = 1520

\sf x=\dfrac{1520}{2}

\sf\therefore x = 760

Now,

Substitute the value of x in " 11x "

We get,

\sf = 11 \times 760

\sf = 8360

Expenditure :

\tt Expenditure = \:Income-Savings

\sf Expenditure = 8360 - 760

\sf\therefore Expenditure = 7600
