According to condition,

or, 11/2 = x/1529

or, 2x = 1520×11

or, 2x = 16720

or, x = 16720/2

So, income = ₹ x = ₹ 8360

Expenditure = ₹ (8360-1520) = ₹ 6840.

Hence, the expenditure is ₹ 6840.
