The ratio of income to savings of a family is 11:2.Find the expenditure if the savings is ₹1520

Let the income be 11x and saving be 2x

Therefore 2x = 1520

X= 760

Therefore income = 11×760=8360

Expenditure = 8360–1520

Ans expenditure = RS 6840
