Let the saving of family is 2 x,

Given, savings of family = 1520




So,

2 x = 1520

x = 760






We know,

Income - saving = expenditure

1 1 x - 2 x = expenditure

9( 760 ) = expenditure

Rs 6840 = expenditure of the family.
