Let income of C&D be
C=3x
D=4x

Let the expenditure of C&D be
C=4a
D=5a

Savings=income-expediture
Savings of C=3x-4a
Savings of D=4x-5a
Given 3x-4a=1/4(3x)
x=16a/9

Therefore savings of C=3(16a/9)-4a
=12a/9

Savings of D=4(16a/9)-5a
=19a/9

Ratio=(12a/9):(19a/9) =12:19

Ratio of savings of C & D are 12:19
