the ratio of isotopic abundance of two isotopes of an element is 3:2 and their most number of 69 and 71 respectively. calculate the average atomic mass of the element.

As ratio of isotopic abundance is 3:2

So 3/2=x/100-x

So x=60and 100-x =40

Av atomic mass=69*x+71*(100-x)/100

=4140+2840/100

=6980/100

=69.80u
