As it is ratio of 4:7
So we can keep a variable

Krishna = 4x
Abdul= 7x

Age before 5 years
Krishna= 4x-5=11
Abdul= 7x-5

4x-5=11
4x=16
X=4

There age after 6 years

Krishna = 4x +6
Abdul= 7x +6

So there age after 6 years is

Krishna is 22 yrs old
Abdul is 34 yrs

Step-by-step explanation:

given that the ratio is 4:7

let their present ages be 4x and 7x respectively

now,

given that 5 years ago krishna was of 11 yrs old

so (present age -5 years )=11

> 4x-5=11

> 4x=11+5

> 4x=16

> x=4

so present age of krishna is 4*4 =16 yrs

and abdul age is 7*4= 28 yrs

now the age after 6 years will be

krishna=16+6=22

abdul=28+6=34

now the ratio after 6 yrs would be

22:34

=11:17

hope it helps
