the ratio of length and breadth is 7:3.if it's breadth is 60cm find its length

Length=7x
Breadth = 3x
Given,
3x=60
x=60/3
x=20
length = 7×20
length = 140 cm.

 \frac{l}{b}  =  \frac{7}{3}

Breadth is 60

Let the length be x.

=  \frac{7}{3}  =  \frac{x}{60}

( Cross - multiplication)

7 \times 60 = 3 \times x

 \frac{7 \times 60}{3}  = x

x = 140


Length = 140 cm
